Day 1: Frankfurt

Upon arrival in Frankfurt make your way to your hotel and receive your tour-documents for your journey. Use the provided voucher for the hop-on-hop-off City tour of Frankfurt, departing every hour from main station (overnight: Hotel Intercity or similar)

Day 2: Frankfurt – Würzburg

In the morning please board your coach at Frankfurt main station (time on the ticket in your documents)for a ride into the Spessart mountains to the city of Würzburg, situated along the Main river and surrounded by vineyards and forested hills. Use the opportunity to tour the famous baroque archbishops-residence or tour the old town with its numerous taverns and historic buildings. Make your own way to the hotel. Day 3: Würzburg – Nuremberg

In the late you board one of our modern coaches and travel through beautiful landscape passing small villages and arrive after 2 hours at Nuremberg Main Train Station. Make your own way to the booked hotel. At 01:00 pm present yourself at the Tourist Information Office at the Hauptmarkt. The walking tour – duration approx. 2 ½ hours - through the Old Town offers information and insights on the castle, the fountains and wells, churches and art as well as the city´s  past and present. Rest of the day is free for own activities. Don´t miss the opportunity to try the local speciality the “Original Nuremberg Sausages”. Overnight Accommodation: Hotel NH City Nuremberg or similar



Day 3: Thursday / Monday

Leipzig – Meissen – Dresden

After the breakfast we continue towards Meissen where we will visit one of Germany’s oldest porcelain manufactories. Founded in the 18th century and being continuously in operation since then, the delicate and always handcrafted products are found in royal courts and celebrities homes all around the world. See the exhibition hall and the demonstration workshops where all steps of the painting and glazing process are explained to you. Afterwards, we go on to Dresden, the capital of the Free State of Saxony. On a city tour you will get to know one of the loveliest cities of central Europe. Due to its general mild climate, the baroque architecture and the renowned museums, Dresden is also called ‘Florence of the Elbe’. See the main sights such as the Semper Opera House, the baroque Zwinger and, overall, the restored Frauenkirche. Nowadays, it is hard to believe that after the bombing in 1945 the city centre was completely destroyed. After our tour we check-in at our hotel. In the evening we will visit the Christmas market called ‘Striezelmarkt’ – named after the local cake ‘Striezel’. Highlights are the big Christmas pyramid and the numerous stalls where you can taste the Striezel. Overnight at Park Inn Dresden or similar.



Day 4 - Nuremberg – Munich

After breakfast make your way to the Nuremberg Main Train Station and ride to Munich – the capital of Bavaria. Make your own way to the booked hotel. In you documentation you will find a voucher for the hop on/hop off Munich Express City Tour starting opposite Munich Main Train Station in front of department store KARSTADT. Enjoy the numerous sights like: Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek, Artgaleries, Odeonsplatz, Nationaltheater, Marienplatz, town hall, Cathedral, Viktualienmarkt and Hofbräuhaus. Rest of the day you can either relax in one of the wonderful beer gardens or use the fantastic shopping facilities of Munich. Overnight Accommodation: Hotel Alfa Munich or similar
